Ziarul Adevărul ne prezintă povestea lui Dan Decebal Chitic, dărăbăneanul care a colindat întreaga lume cu acordeonul.

Până să cânte la acordeon, a exersat la vioară. Tatăl său, muzician şi el, l-a învăţat tainele „pianului de piept“, cu care a colindat întreaga lume. Dan Decebal Chitic sau băiatul lui Serioja, după cum îl cunoştea lumea de mic copil, este unul dintre membrii Ansamblului „Ciprian Porumbescu“ din Suceava, care a încântat întreaga lume cu muzica lui.

Provenind dintr-o familie de muzicanţi, cu tatăl violonist şi în acelaşi timp un discipol redutabil care a pregătit zeci de elevi, Dănuţ Decebal, după cum îl strigă şi acum cei apropiaţi şi cunoscuţii, a ajuns să colide întreaga lume la acordeon.

„Primele noţiuni în ale muzicii le-am învăţat de la tata, care era profesor. Am început de pe la 7 ani cu vioara, pentru că şi tata era violonist şi profesor în acelaşi timp. Eram destul de priceput şi am ajuns să-l ajut pe tata să îi înveţe pe elevii săi, deşi eram mic. Pe la 9 ani a adus în casă un acordeon şi când l-am văzut, am renunţat imediat la vioară“, îşi aminteşte Dan Decebal.

Mic fiind, mergea cu tatăl său pe la nunţi şi petreceri, aşa a ajuns să-l cunoască tot Botoşaniul. „Toţi mă ştiau. Îmi spuneau băiatul lui Serioja pentru că pe tata îl chema Serghei Chitic. Era foarte frumos“, spune muzicantul. A urmat apoi Liceul Teoretic din Darabani, iar din 1971 cei de la Rapsozii Botoşanilor l-au chemat să li se alăture. A cântat la numeroase concerte şi a participat la foarte multe concursuri, atât în ţară cât şi în străinătate, de unde s-a întors încărcat cu trofee.

Zece ani a făcut parte din Rapsozii Botoşanilor, până când cei de la Ansamblul „Ciprian Porumbescu“ i-au propus să vină la Suceava.

N-a stat pe gânduri prea mult şi a acceptat. Au trecut 29 de ani de atunci şi este împăcat cu alegerea făcută. „Eu mi-am dorit mereu să stau în Suceava. Mi-au plăcut locurile foarte mult. A fost mai greu până ce mi-am convins soţia, dar acum nu m-aş muta nicăieri în lumea asta“, spune artistul.

În cei aproximativ 30 de ani de când a ajuns la Suceava, Dan Chitic a participat alături de colegii săi de la ansamblu la numeroase concerte în toată lumea. Acordeonistul spune că nu s-a lăsat ameţit de glorie şi s-a întors mereu la cei dragi, care îl aşteptau la Suceava. „Am ajuns în Statele Unite de cinci ori, am fost într-o croazieră prin Caraibe, Hawai, Mexic. De asemenea, am ajuns împreună cu Sofia Vicoveanca în Suedia, Japonia. Europa am văzut-o toată. Mi-am întâlnit şi colegii de liceu sau de armată prin locurile în care am ajuns, dar nu mi-am dorit niciodată să rămân pe alte meleaguri“, spune Dan Decebal Chitic.

În tot acest timp a scos patru CD-uri, două café-concert şi două folclor, iar acum nu îşi doreşte decât sănătate, ca să-i poată încânta pe oameni cu muzica sa. „Mă bucur că mai există tineri care iubesc muzica populară şi muzica veche. Ne dăm seama de asta la fiecare petrecere. Dacă spectacolul e regizat şi nu se mai poate modifica nimic, la petreceri schimbăm repertoriul dacă vedem că publicul preferă altceva“, a mai spus artistul.
