Apoi, chiar în interpretarea culegătorului lor, maestrul Constantin Lupu, aceleaşi piese vor fi transpuse pe disc, cu titlul „Muzică veche din Moldova de Sus”, disc premiat de Academia Charles Cros din Franţa. Despre valoarea artistică incontestabilă a antologiei alcătuită de profesorul Constantin Lupu au scris compozitori şi folclorişti de prestigiu, precum Constantin Arvinte sau dr. Speranţa Rădulescu.
