Doina Prutului

La Darabani am întâlnit un poet popular atemporal. Aglaia Florea s-a născut la 24 ianuarie 1932 și scrie versuri dintotdeauna. În caietele sale am găsit cântece de dor, de jale și de bucurie, delicioase filosofii ale românului fără multă școală, dar plin de talent.

În iernile lungi din nordul Moldovei, Aglaia umple rând după rând și pagină după pagină cu versuri auzite din bătrâni, culese din cărți sau create chiar de ea. Un asemenea cântec este Doina Prutului, inspirat de poemul scris de George Buznea în 1940 și îmbogățit cu tristețea de acasă a țărancei-poetese, a cărei familie a fost împărțită de istorie pe cele două maluri ale Prutului.

Redăm mai jos versiunea locală a doinei, așa cum apare ea în caietele Aglaiei.

Că nu e hotar sau carte

Prutu-i cu Siretul frate
Și cu Nistrul jumătate
Prutule care ne-mparți
Cât o să ne mai desparți
Ca să-mi văd tată și mamă
Cât o să mai trec prin vamă
Prutule cât ne mai frângi
Că și tu o să mai plângi
De atâta nedreptate
De la un vecin și frate
Ieri într-o creștinătate
Azi în roșie dreptate

Măi vecine frățioare
Ai o țară cât un soare
Iar eu una cât o stea
Și ne-ai rupt și tu de ea

Din Hotin până la mare

Între noi ai pus un spin
Cu țăpușe și mai mari
Decât cel sădit de Țari

Că azi frate ne-ai trecut
Și dincoace peste Prut
Iar din Țara cea de sus
Alte sate mi s-au dus
Cum s-a dus și-o Bucovină
Dulce-a neamului grădină
De o plâng și văile
Pe toate poticele
Prin ogrăzi și pe la stâni
Că și cânii sunt Români

Und-i Moldova mama lor
Ne-a fost nașă din popor
Cum rămâne zările

Care pe drumeți îi adapă

Prutule râu blăstămat
Prutule întunecat
Face-te-ai pe veci mutat
Lângă Nistru înspumat
Să ne fie acolo hat
