Cea mai în vârstă femeie din Darabani împlineşte astăzi un secol de viaţă.
Anica Găluşcă a înfruntat nu numai vitregiile vieţii şi necazurile vremii, dar şi superstiţiile cifrei 13. Bătrâna, care în ciuda poverii anilor îşi îngrijeşte singură gospodăria, s-a născut pe 13 ianuarie 1910.
Ea recunoaşte că în acele vremuri nimeni nu avea „grija zilei în care te-ai născut” şi nici nu “existau astfel de prostii legate de numere”. “Am crescut ca un om normal alături de familia mea şi am trecut cu greu peste molime, război şi necazuri. Acum nu mă mai sperie nimic. Nici chiar moartea”, povesteşte bătrânica, păstrându-şi încă viu umorul.
Potrivit actului originar, naşterea a fost înregistrată la numărul 13 în registrele “Primăriei comunei Târgu Darabani”. Anica Găluşcă spune că acest lucru a fost observat de copii şi nepoţi.
