În Enciclopedia României, apărută la Editura Cugetarea – Georgescu Delafras în 1940, de oraşul Darabani se leagă o referinţă interesantă:

Theo Dron, compozitor, născut în 4 martie 1894 la Darabani:

Fost funcţionar la Ministerul Justiţiei. A scris numeroase valsuri, marşuri, romanţe, hore, sârbe, cântece, foxtroturi, serenade, melodii, one-step-uri, intermezzo-uri, doine, fantezii pastorale, pe versuri de V. Eftimisiu, A. de Herz, Şt. O. Iosif, N. I. Flamură, Const. Argeşanu etc.

Pe internet există puţine menţiuni despre compozitorul dărăbănean. Dacă ştiţi mai multe despre Theo Dron, dacă aveţi fotografii sau înregistrări ale altor compoziţii ale sale, vă invităm să ne daţi de ştire în comentarii.
