Vineri, 19 februarie 2010, a avut loc la Darabani un eveniment cultural ce merită semnalat.
Manifestările culturale au făcut parte din seria “Şezătorilor de iarnă”, un proiect patronat de Centrul Judeţean de Conservare şi Promovare a Culturii Tradiţionale, ajunse la a xx-a ediţie.
Au fost prezenţi oameni de cultură ai judeţului, autorităţi locale, iar numeroasa audienţă a putut beneficia de o terapie culturală cu poezie de calitate, de evocări ale unor momente din trecutul literar dărăbănean. În sală au fost : Gelu Dorian, Lucian Alexa, Dumitru Ţiganiuc, Vlad Scutelnicu, C-tin Bojescu, Petruţ Pârvescu, Nicolae Corlat, Dumitru Necşanu, Mircea Oprea, Vasile Iftimie, Stelioran Moroşanu, Cristina Şoptelea, Victor Teişanu şi alţii.
S-au citit versuri, dar a fost şi muzică folk prin amabilitatea tinerilor de la Icarus, doi băieţi talentaţi din Săveni care însoţesc grupul de scriitori prin judeţ în cadrul manifestărilor dedicate “Şezătorilor iernii”.
La 60 de ani de la naşterea poetului dărăbănean Corneliu Popel, nu se putea omite evocarea activităţii sale literare şi a omului de geniu care a părăsit această lume când mai avea atâtea de spus.
Momentul culminant al manifestărilor a fost lansarea celei de-a 6-a cărţi de poezii, aparţinând poetului dărăbănean Victor Teişanu. ” Elegii şi extaze” este ultima carte a autorului apărută la editura Timpul şi s-a bucurat de prezentarea remarcabilă a profesorului şi scriitorului Dumitru Ţiganiuc.
Din partea iubitorilor de cultură şi poezie, mulţumiri invitaţilor botoşăneni şi autorităţilor locale care au sprijinit acest eveniment şi tuturor celor prezenţi.
